Variety of beryl (beryllium aluminum silicate) as well as aquamarine, morganite and heliodor. This precious stone owes its green color to traces of chromium. As a green stone, it stimulates the body's regenerative forces. Traditionally, emerald is used to soothe tired eyes and congested sinuses. It is suitable for bilious temperaments. Emerald harmonizes all energy centers (chakras). It is a stone of love and renewal but, paradoxically, if worn constantly it can trigger negative emotions. Emerald is a stone that evolves (it lives!) It should not be put in contact with other minerals, with the exception of diamonds.
