Aluminosilicate of sodium and chlorine. Like lapis lazuli, placed on the frontal chakra, sodalite is a good stimulant of brain functions. It promotes inner vision, clarifies the mind. When the mind is purified and pacified, we gain a better understanding of the world and of ourselves. In meditation, sodalite would thus help us to detach ourselves from old mental patterns. Sodalite soothes irritated skin, in association with green aventurine and mookaite jasper.
