Museum quality temnospondyl known as Edingerella from the Early Triassic Late Permian of Madagascar. Such pieces are rarely found and most of the time only the skull is present and the preservation is not perfect.
The Edingerella lived in shallow coastal waters. Its sharp teeth suited fish and other small amphibians in its environment well.
